AirLessons is an online platform connecting students with experienced aviation instructors for virtual or in presence lessons. Whether you're studying for a pilot's license, need to prepare for an assessment or just want to improve your aviation knowledge, AirLessons helps you find the right instructor.
Both students and instructors can use AirLessons. Students looking for aviation-related lessons can book sessions, while certified instructors can offer their expertise through the platform.
For Students
Creating an account is simple—just sign up, verify your profile, and complete your details with your learning preferences and experience level.
Browse available instructors, choose a session that suits your needs, and book a time that works for you. You can also send a message to the instructor to discuss specific topics.
Lessons include flight theory, assessment preparation, exam preparation, english proficiency preparation and more.
When it's time for your session, log into your AirLessons account and open the lesson link from your dashboard, you will also receive a link on your email to connect to the lesson.
Yes, rescheduling or cancellation policies depend on the instructor’s terms. Be sure to review their policy before booking.
If an instructor fails to show up for a scheduled lesson, you will automatically receive a full refund, depending on the situation. Instructors may be warned or penalized for repeated no-shows.
Yes. Many instructors offer both online and in-person lessons. For in-person sessions, you can search by city and range to find instructors near you.
No. Subscription plans are only for instructors. Students do not pay a monthly fee — they only pay per lesson.
For Instructors
Sign up, complete your profile, verify your credentials, and list your available lessons. Once approved, students can start booking sessions with you.
You can set your own rates based on your expertise and the type of lessons you offer. Starting price is 25 Eur/h.
Payments are securely processed through the platform and transferred to your preferred payment method after the lesson is completed.
Yes! You can offer different lesson types, depending on your expertise.
Yes, you can upgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. The change will apply immediately, and all new benefits will become active as soon as the payment is confirmed.
All payments are handled securely through Stripe. Students must pay at least 5 days in advance to confirm the lesson. The instructor receives their payment immediately but will be released from Stripe to the specified bank account only 9 Days later.
After each lesson, students are invited to leave a review and a rating. Reviews must be respectful and reflect the real experience. AirLessons may remove reviews that are defamatory or violate our terms.
You can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice. No penalties are charged, but the current subscription period must end before the downgrade is effective. No refunds are issued for partially used months.
Yes. As an instructor on AirLessons, you are considered an independent professional / freelancer. AirLessons is only an intermediary platform, and does not withhold taxes or act as your employer.
All payments to instructors are processed via Stripe and appear in your Stripe payout statements. Those payouts are considered your income. AirLessons does not issue payslips or act as a legal employer. Depending on your country, you may need to: - Issue an invoice for each lesson or for total monthly earnings; - Add VAT if you are VAT registered; - Declare your income in your annual tax return; - Keep track of payments received via Stripe. We recommend consulting with your accountant or tax advisor to handle receipts or invoices in the correct legal format for your country.
Technical
A stable internet connection, a webcam, a microphone, and any necessary materials for your lesson (such as flight charts or manuals).
Yes, we use secure authentication and encrypted video calls to ensure a safe learning environment.

Yes, securely through AirLessons using Stripe. This ensures both student and instructor are protected and that cancellation policies are applied correctly.
Yes. After each completed payment, a digital invoice is generated automatically. You can download it from your “Transactions” section in your profile.
You can cancel a lesson from your dashboard. If you cancel more than 24 hours before the lesson, you will get a full refund. If it’s less than 24h, cancellation fees will apply.
AirLessons does not store or see your card information. All payment data is handled securely through Stripe, our external payment provider, which is fully PCI-DSS compliant.
